This five-week (practice one session for one week) workshop will introduce the new student to the wonderful art of Qigong and different forms in Medical, Martial, and Spiritual Qigong. At the same time, it gives the seasoned student an opportunity to learn details of Medical Qigong concepts.
This workshop will focus on the Qigong practice called the Ba Duan Jin (8 Sections of Brocade) which has been used for centuries for radiant health and emotional tranquility.
Each week we will be practicing a new exercise in addition to philosophical questions and answer session with Sifu JC following practice.
What is Qigong?
Qigong is the art of developing internal energy particularly for health and vitality, mind expansion and spiritual cultivation. The art of Qigong uses body movements, rhythmic breathing, imagination, visualizations, affirmations, and healing sounds to promote a strong body and mind.
