This is one of the oldest forms of shamanistic protection meditation that was traditionally used before one would pick herbs in the forest, before martial arts practice, qigong practice and before doing medical qigong treatments and any type of healing.

As in all forms of medicine from the past, it has a shamanistic nature.

The phoenix becomes your heart and every beat of the phoenix’s wings are the beat of your heart representing spiritual growth. The turtle has your back at all times representing your ancestors, lineage, and mentors. The tiger is symbolic of your breath, always protecting you. The dragon is symbolic of your imagination and creativity, helping you to help society.

You become the Golden Phoenix or the Golden Dragon.

When the four animals energy combine with your physical body, your organs take on a powerful new energy to enhance your health and wellness.
